It's really not that impressive. I didn't see the game, but something tells me the Jets were in the prevent defense for the whole second half. [Edited 9/28/08 15:57pm] Speaking for self, I'm impressed anytime someone throws for almost 500 against any NFL defense, no matter the score or how bad the D is..... Brett Farve edit It's bad enough he doesn't pronounce it correctly; you could at least spell it the right way. hmm...ooops

Judging by the rest of my picks, the Bears are going to dominate tonight. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

If the defenders are aren't even bothering to cover the receivers or rush the passer, it's just simple pitch and catch. I guess it speaks to accuracy and concentration, but I still don't get what's so impressive. As someone who's watched a lot of football, I'm impressed by those handful of games where someone has passed for 500+ yards and won. Even more impressive: seeing Adrian Peterson almost rush for 300 yards last year! "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Speaking of making somebody look like Joe Montana... the Eagles need to stop f-cking around and make Orton look like the scrub he is. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Eagles can't do shit on offense without Westbrook. Now Buchalter's out. Damn.

That is actually a disgusting stat. Any QB can throw it all game. And what defense is letting you unless as AlexdeParis alluded to they are so far in front they don't care what you do? I won in fantasy, turns out because of Cotchery.
Barber did nothing. Final over an undefeated team 99-90. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

they should really be 4-0 Looking on the bright side, it may be better this way. This is a very good team, but that doesn't mean they don't have places to improve. This'll be one of those games we laugh at after the Eagles win the Super Bowl in a few months. I still think the Eagles propelled the Niners to their last Super Bowl win after the Birds completely and utterly embarrassed them. Now bring on the Deadskins and the return of Brian Westbrook! Kurt Warner completed 40-of-57 passes for 472 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 4 against the Jets.
Rarely will fantasy and reality differ so much. Warner posted huge numbers, but turned the ball over six times and threw for 373 of his yards after the Cardinals were down 34-0 at halftime. He repeatedly fumbled while showing his trademark disregard for ball security and had a first-quarter interception returned for a touchdown on a play where the Jets rushed two defenders. Given that Warner somehow avoided being pulled in the first half, Matt Leinart is seemingly nailed to the bench. http://www.rotoworld.com/...ine=124945 I so agree with this analysis I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

[Edited 9/29/08 21:31pm] just to put this to bed since I'm not much of a Cardinals fan...I agree that the Jets probably were in some form of prevent...but at least the O kept playing and taking what the D gave them....someone forgot to inform the Cards D that there was still some football to play...and if I'm not mistaken, at the mid point of the 4th QTR they were only down a couple of touchdowns...so with a little D, maybe Warner's obscene stats lead to a great comeback win...I guess I should've clarified that I was impressed for the simple fact that at 34-0, the Cards could've tanked the second half... ...not that I really care that much about the Cardinals anyway...I'm just upset that since they gave up 6 TDs to BrettFarveBrettFarveBrettFarve, we have to be subjected to hearing about the greatness of his holiness, the QB, all week long....
